Eventuality is committed to protecting your privacy. Please read the Privacy
Statement below. It describes the types of personal information we may collect
and how we use it to provide services.
No human reads the messages that you send or receive through Eventuality
services without your consent.
You may update your account information and preferences at any time.
To comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, at this time
Eventuality services are only available to users who are at least 13 years old.
If you are under 13, please do not use Eventuality services.
By using Eventuality services, you agree to the collection and use of your
personal information as described in this policy.
Scope
The Eventuality Eva Privacy Statement applies to data collected by Eventuality
through its Eventuality Virtual Agent (Eva) sites and services; it does not
apply to data collected through other online or offline Eventuality sites,
products or services.
Collection of your Personal Information
To create an account you will need to provide your name and credit card
information, including your billing address. Additional contact information
including home, work, and mobile telephone numbers as well as
e-mail addresses
are optional, but necessary for Eventuality to contact you with the status of
various actions that Eva performs on your behalf.
In order to sign in to the Eva services via the Web, you will be asked to enter
a username and password. If you access Eva via a telephone, your credentials
will consist of your telephone number and a PIN.
You must provide some amount of information about each of the contacts that you
wish Eva to communicate with. This information may include name, address, phone
numbers, and
e-mail addresses.
Eventuality’s computers process the information in the messages that you send
and receive. Because we keep back-up copies of data for the purposes of
recovery from errors or system failure, residual copies of messages may remain
on our systems for some time, even after you have deleted these messages or
terminated your account.
We may collect information about your visit, including the pages you view, the
links you click, and other actions taken in connection with Eventuality sites
and services. We also collect certain standard information that your browser
sends to every website you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and
language, access times and referring Web set addresses.
Eventuality logs some amount of information about each transaction for business
purposes. For example, the log helps us determine the performance of our system
so we can improve the quality by adding additional resources. The log
information is also important for security and audit purposes.
Use of your Personal Information
Eventuality collects and uses your personal information to deliver the services
that you have requested. We also use your personal information to communicate
with you. We may send certain required service communications such as welcome
letters, billing reminders, information on technical service issues, and
security announcements. We may occasionally send you product surveys or
promotional information to inform you of other products or services available
from Eventuality and its affiliates.
Eventuality does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third
parties.
We may contact you on behalf of external business partners about particular
offers that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your personal
information is not transferred to the third party. We do not use or disclose
sensitive personal information without your explicit consent.
We may occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our
behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing
customer support, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis
of our services. We will only provide those companies the personal information
they require to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the
confidentiality of your information and are prohibited from using that
information for any other purpose.
Eventuality may access and/or disclose your personal information if required to
do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a)
conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on
Eventuality or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of
Eventuality; or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety
of users of Eventuality services or members of the public.
Personal information collected on this site may be stored and processed in the
United States or any other country in which Eventuality, its affiliates, or
agents maintain facilities, and by using this site, you consent to any such
transfer to information outside of your country.
Control of your Personal Information
Eventuality pays particular attention and has policies to ensure that user
accounts and personal information are not misused by Eventuality employees or
its affiliates. We implement industry standard security practices that prevent
unauthorized external parties from gaining access to user accounts and personal
information.
Controlling Spam or Unsolicited e-mail
Eventuality is concerned about controlling unsolicited commercial e-mail, or
“spam”. We have a strict policy prohibiting the use of any Eventuality service
to send spam.
Eventuality will make every effort to prevent you from receiving spam through
our services, but there is no currently available technology that will totally
prevent the sending and receiving of unsolicited
e-mail.
